Your domain is validated and sent to the HostingGarage PHP backend
The domain is cleaned (www stripped, protocol removed) and sent server-side to the PHP script running on our Hostinger Mumbai server. The HetrixTools API key never appears in your browser — only the server communicates with the HetrixTools API. This is important: any tool that calls an external API directly from client-side JavaScript is exposing its API key in your browser’s network tab.
HetrixTools creates a temporary one-time monitor
Our PHP backend calls the HetrixTools v3 API (POST /uptime-monitors) to create a one-time check monitor for your domain. HetrixTools then dispatches checks from its probe network across Mumbai, Singapore, London, Dallas, and Sydney simultaneously.
Results are fetched and normalised
The PHP backend polls the monitor report endpoint (GET /uptime-monitors/{id}/report) until results are available. The raw JSON is normalised into a consistent response structure — status (UP/DOWN/SLOW), response time in milliseconds, HTTP status code, and per-location results.
Results display instantly in your browser
The normalised result is returned to your browser as JSON. No page reload required. The verdict card, location rows, response time, and post-check CTA all render in place. The temporary monitor is deleted after results are returned to stay within the free plan’s monitor limit.
